Rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in connection with the incident, but denies involvement amid the ongoing investigation

Offset has returned to the stage just days after he was shot outside a casino in Florida.

Despite his ongoing recovery from a bullet wound, the rapper, 34, delivered a high-energy performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., on Saturday, April 11.

Offset, real name Kiari Cephus, shared a video on Instagram of the moment he arrived on the stage in a wheelchair to perform a set list that included Migos's “Bad and Boujee.”

Not allowing his injury to keep him down, Offset stood during the performance to interact with the crowd.

“REAL LOVE ❤️,” he captioned his Instagram post, which included several photos of him posing at the festival and the crowd cheering.

The rapper is a father of six children, including three with his estranged wife, Cardi B.

He was transported to the Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood after suffering “non-life-threatening injuries” in a shooting outside Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood shortly after 7 p.m. local time on Monday, April 6.

A spokesperson confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE on Friday that he had been released from the hospital.

“We're incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him,” the spokesperson said.

The Seminole Police Department claimed in a statement to PEOPLE that the shooting spiraled from “an affray, or fight.”

Rapper Lil Tjay (né Tione Jayden Merritt) was arrested in connection with the incident and booked on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He was later released on bond from the Broward County Jail.

A second person detained at the scene of the shooting has not been charged.

Lil Tjay's lawyer, Dawn Florio, denied the rapper's involvement in the shooting in a statement shared on Instagram, writing, “Lil Tjay has not been shot, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false.”

An investigation is ongoing to determine who was involved in the incident.
