Decker marked their 17th wedding anniversary by sharing a playful Instagram post in colonial costumes

Brooklyn Decker is celebrating 17 years of marriage with Andy Roddick.

The model and actress, 39, marked her 17th wedding anniversary with the former tennis star, 43, with a cheeky post on Instagram on Friday, April 17.

"17 years today but feels like it's been this long," Decker wrote alongside a photo of the couple wearing colonial costumes, playfully suggesting that it feels like far much more time has passed since they tied the knot in Texas in 2009.

In the picture, the couple stand side by side in a kitchen with serious expressions. Roddick is dressed up in a gold military officer uniform complete with a white historical wig while Decker is wearing a modest navy blue dress with a suffragette protest sash that reads "Votes for Women."

Decker clarified in a comment that the costumes were for a "green card party," where they were dressed as Founding Father Alexander Hamilton and women's rights activist Susan B. Anthony.

Many of the couple's friends congratulated them in the comments section, including model Julia Stegner, who wrote "Happy Anniversary ❤️." Other people, including former tennis player Kim Clijsters, simply left laughing emojis.

Roddick and Decker began dating in 2007, got engaged in 2008 and wed in 2009. They share two children: son Hank, 10, and daughter Stevie, 8.

Back in 2020, Decker gushed that Roddick "supports everything" she does, and she does the same for him.

"We're blindly supportive of each other," the Grace and Frankie alum told Scary Mommy in December 2020. "And we shift. I promise it's not this easy, but I do feel like we're really good about stepping in when someone's just exhausted and worn out and it's time to tap out. We have figured out how to do that."
